This three-day course explains the basic fundamentals of the Movicon.NExT industrial software solution. The course uses lectures and labs to teach the students.

Those who complete this class will be able to:

  • Create a Movicon.NExT Project along with basic HMI screen layout with animated elements

  •  Configure I/O communications with multiple I/O data sources

  •  Configure Alarms, Data Logging, and Data Trending for collection and display on HMI screens

Prerequisites:

Participants should be comfortable operating in a Microsoft Windows environment, and have a basic understanding of control fundamentals.

Special Instructions: 

  • For web based courses, it is beneficial to use dual monitors, one for the Webex classroom presentations, and one for Virtual Machine Environment with programming.
  • For web based courses, it is beneficial to use a headset.  This helps reduce any feedback from PC speakers/microphones.
